Sacha, HR Business Partner

I have quite a varied CV.  Straight out of University, I spent a year working as a Learning Support Assistant with a Church School here in Malta. An opportunity which gave me great insight into working with challenged teens and also helped me enhance certain people skills which I use till this very day.

After that I joined a local recruitment agency working as a Recruiter focusing on the IT and iGaming market. It was an amazing experience which gave me the first taste to the gaming industry. It was exciting and motivating to be working in an industry that was fast-moving and constantly evolving.

Having spent the early years of my career working on the recruitment side of igaming, including a period as a Talent Acquisition Executive at ComeOn Group, it was only a matter of time until I moved into a more well-rounded HR role, as an HR Business Partner for KingMakers, managing both the Malta and London office. 

Working in a multicultural environment and working with people across multiple locations is part of what attracted me to this industry. It’s also an industry where change is embraced and sought out. Staying on top of your game and constantly innovating has its challenges, and my role puts me in a great position to help lead the change whilst managing peoples expectations. 

Also, working towards creating an environment where people thrive and grow is a great satisfaction. I believe the gaming industry remains one of the best industries for individuals to reach their full potential in their career, with ample opportunities for both horizontal and vertical growth.
